Water.  Do you love it or hate it?

Whatever side of the fence you fall on, there is no arguing that we all need it!

 

As a classroom teacher I drank minimally to avoid the urge to run the restroom.  Bad choice.  Friend, I hope you aren't still living in that world.

 

Water has since become a staple in my life.  I gulp it down freely, especially when I present.  And, during the summer months, I often spruce it up a bit!

 

Check out some of my favorite recipes for fruit infused water.  Make it by the glass or fill an entire pitcher and allow about 4 hours to sit in the refrigerator.  I promise your taste buds are in for a treat.

 

STRAWBERRY LEMON

Okay, stick with me here.  It's basic, but the vitamin C is powerful, and the lemon also helps you maintain an optimal PH.  Think weight loss, heart health, cancer fighter, and more.

 

CUCUMBER MINT

Cucumber water is served at spas for a reason.  A stress fighter and metabolism booster are just a few of the benefits.

 

WATERMELON BASIL

This is a summer favorite and bursting with flavor.  If you aren't a huge basil fan, go a bit lighter on it or substitute mint.

 

GRAPE ORANGE

This is a kid favorite!   Be sure to slice the grapes and let this one sit overnight.  You can also add some mint or basil for fun.
