I know I’m late to the game, but how many of you are podcast fans?

I’ve found they are perfect for a long drive.  And, honestly, something about not having a screen in front of my face feels good!  I’m  actually honing my listening skills!

I started my listening adventure with Up and Vanished. Creepy and captivating, it had me hooked.  But, soon I found myself venturing out and exploring the big wide world of podcasting,  I had no idea how many education podcasts existed!

Here are just a few I have come across.

The Cult of Pedagogy

Jennifer Gonzales takes on topics big and small in education with great insight and frequent guests.  This podcast is supported by a number of corporate sponsors, so there is a fair amount of promotion.  But, with such valuable content, it might still be worth a listen.

Moving at the Speed of Creativity

Focused on education technology, you can expect to hear topics ranging from coding in elementary schools to strategies for integrating the iPad into the curriculum.

TED Talks Daily

While not all TED Talks are aimed at educators, many seem to resonate with us.   And, who doesn't love a good TED Talk?

Angela Waton’s Truth for Teachers

If you only have 10 minutes to spare, check out Angela Watson each Sunday for a good dose of inspiration before you take on the week.

The Bedley Brothers

Real life brothers who were both teachers-of-the-year in California provide a practical 30 minute show.

Every Classroom Matters

Winner of Best Talk Show Host in Education, this podcast explores a variety of best practices in a 10 minute format.

So, there is a small menu to get started.  But, I’m curious to hear from you!   Let me know which podcasts am I missing out on right now.

Have a great week!
