FROM THRIFT STORE TO FABULOUS IN THE CLASSROOM

After talking last week about spring cleaning, I couldn't stop thinking about all the fabulous finds thrift store finds which could add some pizzazz on the cheap for your classroom. Those of you that know me, know that I love the thrill of the hunt and much of my home is filled with these treasures.  Don't believe me?  Check out this jewel.

Do you remember these from the 70's and 80's?   They were the "go to" photo frame of the time.  You might even have one lurking around your house or a family member's.  Thanks to my genius friend Melinda, she saw their value as storage options.

On a recent trip to my favorite thrift store, rummaging through a pile of unloved frames, I came across these beauties and made them mine for a just a few dollars.

I was even more thrilled when I realized how much I saved myself over buying similar storage options here.  So, are you up for a thrift store challenge?  I'm curious to see what treasures you discover!
